Fender '65 Super Reverb Reissue
The ’65 Super Reverb RI is one of Fender’s best reissues ever. Its 45W are perhaps an intermediate option between a Deluxe Reverb and a Twin Reverb. It has a lot of cleans and a great natural overdrive when used at higher volumes.

The ’65 Super Reverb RI is one of Fender’s best reissues ever. Its 45W are perhaps an intermediate option between a Deluxe Reverb and a Twin Reverb, but it also has some unique features. It does have a lot of clean “room” before starting to “break”, but the overall tone is very rich and warm, making it very useful for Funk, Soul, Jazz (it’s great for rock and pop, too, of course)... It takes pedals wonderfully (specially overdrives), though natural distortion can be achieved taking the volume to high levels, giving you a very creamy sound (less “greasy” than the Deluxe Reverb) for vintage rock sounds. Less edgy treble tones than the Twin Reverb (which is perhaps more appropriate for country). It’s important to mention that the Super Reverb comes with a tube rectifier, which you’ll notice in the sound right away. Those 45W are very well handled by this amp, and it IS loud. This is undoubtedly a special sound, coming through its 4x10’’ Jensen speakers, and through an optional vibrato channel that will delight those who seek clean rich tones.
Like new. Includes cover, footswitch and manual.
