Here we have an amazing reproduction of the famous Fender “L Series” from the sixties. The Custom Shop has had every detail into account, and the results speak for themselves. Spectacular relicing job, and the feel is just fantastic. The apparently worn neck is among the most comfortable ones we’ve ever tried on a Strat, and the veneer type fretboard is just a work of art itself. The sound that the Custom ’65 pickups deliver (my favorite ones for a Strat) are pure Vaughan-style blues, definitely more bluesy than 57’s (less “chimey”) a with tons of mojo, very explosive. My favorite, I guess you’ve noticed by now. These guitars retail 2800-3000€ new. At a great price, in exceptional condition. Includes OHSC (exceptional condition except for a few scuffs in some corners) and Certificate of Authenticity.
