How about this near-mint 1966 ES-355 in rare factory mono and factory Bigsby, including a bunch of case candy? Also, it sounds like a million bucks, guaranteed.
SOLD
A few weeks ago we had another just like this, also in mono, and their not easy to find. This one has a factory Maestro instead of a Bigsby, and it sounds just as killer as the other one. Monos are hard to beat!
These guitars are VERY rare in factory mono. You can find stereo versions ocassionally, but not mono versions. Also, due to the lack of popularity for the stereo config & the way it affects tone, mono versions are the ones to have if you can find one. Sure, you can convert your stereo to mono but that will affect originality one way or the other, wouldn’t it? :)
Guitar is entirely original. The ebony board adds to the amazing resonance of this tone machine. Some guitars have the magic, others don’t. But such a small number of them do, so we’re happy to offer this well-sounding instrument.
The condition is insane for a guitar this age. It has checked beautifully (but subtle), but is so well taken care of. It still has the original frets (all nibs are very visible) and plays wonderfully though some areas are a bit of a fretless wonder.
Includes OHSC with yellow interior and Gibson badge.
