Here’s a 1961 Gibson ES-345 TDSV in beautiful condition. Superb sound and gorgeous sunburst finish.
Features a very nice comfy neck, not crazy thin at all. Barely any checking on this guitar.
It has the factory stereo configuration as well as the Varitone circuit in there.
It did have a Bigsby at some point, with the classic “snake bite” marks on the top (which were filled) and lower strap button area. No breaks, repairs, touchups or anything of the sort apart from the Bigsby. Tuners are repro (and quite nice by the way), and I suspect the Varitone dial. Bridge is a PAT No. with foundry mark. 2 gorgeous PAFs which read 8.04k bridge and 7.66k neck. Neck cover was off at some point. Both have readable “Patent Applied For” decals, but you can only read “Applied For” on neck, the rest has peeled off.
Includes pretty beat but functional OHSC with the Lifton badge.
Fantastic guitar in really good conditions, with no major issues, which certainly deliver those fantastic tones “á la B.B.”!
