1959 Gibson ES-330TD

This is another truly amazing find. A exceptional-condition 1959 ES-330! Absolutely stunning in every way, including the original hang tag! 100% original to the last screw, no modifications of any kind! This is without a doubt one of the best examples of a first-year 330 on the planet. You also know how rare it is to find actual '59s out there, they are very scarce and generally you can find more 60's with 59 hardware (but different neck profile, of course).

The P90's are absolute bliss, with their classic warm tone that will delight jazzmen, bluesmen and rockers alike. Awesome for clean tones and absolutely monstrous for overdriven leads. The guitar has no center block and is completely hollow, so it is a true featherweight, only 5lbs 10oz!!

The guitar is in mint condition, only showing very minor dings here and there and beautiful checking all over the body. Checking is more intense in the back and there are some stress marks on the back, which is normal for any 60-year old plywood body. No neck finish wear, and a '59 V2 profile (so not a fat neck like the late 58's but definitely generous and NOT the thin 60's style). Frets are originalbut still in decent shape.

We have blacklit the guitar and can confirm that all the finish is 100% original and there are NO oversprays or touchups of ANY kind.

The guitar has a correct 1959 FON in the interior (S1027 21) and a correct model designation stamp ("ES330TD").

Check out the pictures and see for yourself: you will be hard-pressed to find another 59 ES-330 TD that looks as good as this. The guitar not only looks incredibly good, but plays and sounds equally well too!

The guitar does include it's original brown Lifton case with the Lifton logo and pink interior. It is in great condition and dresses the guitar's presentation like no other case does.

ES-330's prices have been going up non-stop in the last years, and will continue to do so. '59s are the most sought-after, especially if they're in this condition, so now is the chance to get your hands on a true collector's item and killer tone machine. It will be a while before we see another such fine example as this.
