The American Deluxe Series offers an ash-body version, with it’s unique wood grain. It looks great in this Aged Cherry Sunburst, very elegant.

It features all specs from any other Deluxe from 2007: S1 switching, locking tuners, synchronized tremolo with pop-in arm... except the pickups, which are NOT the MK I Noiseless, but a set of three Custom Shop '54 instead. You all know that the first Noiseless pups were a flop because they cut down a lot of harmonics, so this is a HUGE upgrade tonewise. 

Previous owner was a lefty and played it a-la-Hendrix, which means the upper bout strap button was in the opposite horn. It was set back to factory configuration, with a small blemish there if you look closely, but not easy to spot, since it was filled by a very skilled tech. It feels smooth, too, no sign it was ever there unless you look really closely, and still...
