Attention, jazzmen! Here's an amazing find: a 2001 Gibson L-4 CES in dead mint condition. What a beauty to look at, and a delight to play and listen to. You won't find one every day -and at this price-, so it might be the time to "go archtop".
In absolutely immaculate condition, this one-owner beauty has been kept as a treasure. No signs of wear, dings, etc., and 100% bone stock. The three-tone sunburst is very elegant indeed. '57 Classic pickups and virtually a "rich man's" ES-175D (with a carved spruce top, of course, no laminated maple on this one), you will be surpised by the way the builder (signed by James W. Hutchins) has taken care of every detail... a true work of art.
One of the most surprising aspects -hardware-wise- is that there is no pickguard... it was never installed (there are no holes of any kind from any previous installation). If you want it with one, we can of course get one for you, but do you really want to drill holes on this thing?!
Folks, these go for over 5400€, so it is a great chance to own a stunning archtop for a very tempting price.
Includes COA and OHSC.
