We're very proud to present a very collectable Historic Les Paul: a 2003 R8 with confirmed Brazilian board. Absolutely spectacular guitar!
This is the second '03 R8 with confirmed Braz we've had. Another tone monster, and in absolutely immaculate condition, a true collector's piece. It has a nice '58 neck (chunky but not crazy), and the weight is 9.1 lbs (4117 gr).
The top has a super-elegant flatsawn plaintop. Lots of nice wood "rings" all over, just like the other one we had. The Washed Cherry finish is very subtle near the sides and lower edges, and more pronounced near the neck. Capturing this in pictures has been very hard, so we've shown the guitar in different light situations to see the differences.
The guitar is in immaculate condition, a true case queen, period. No playwear, no worming, no buckle rash. It seems to never have been played whatsoever! No mods, either.
Includes Lifton OHSC (that's a plus right there, these were an extra that year), ALL documentation, case candy, checklist and COA.
A true collector's piece, and these rarely ever come up for sale.
