Gibson Custom 50th Anniversary 1959 ES-335 VOS

We’ve had the luck of adding this “work of art” to our catalogue, with only 250 built in the world. Gibson’s Custom Shop has reproduced a 1959 ES-335 with identical specs as the original, to celebrate its 50^th Anniversary. The results are amazing. Very warm sound perfect for blues and jazz, thanks to its ’57 Classic humbuckers (a good substitute for the long gone PAFs), though they also offer a good response for funk using the bridge pickup. VOS finish really makes you think fifty years have indeed gone by, specially if you take a close look at the hardware, and all the body finish is covered in a sort of patina that dulls out the glossy shine a little bit, making it look aged, but with a fantastic feel. The rounded ’59 neck makes pure bluesmen really feel this guitar! 

In an exceptional, mint condition, includes OHSC, Certificate of Authenticity and accessories/case candy.
