2013 has been one of the most relevant years in the history of the Gibson Custom Shop. The series of changes applied in all '13 Historics have made them the most precise reissues ever made by the company.

We're talking about a one-piece fretboard, no-sleeve truss rod, aniline dye, hide glue neck set, improved binding color (more vintage looking), new Kluson tuners, stock Custom Buckers and real celluloid inlays. What a year!

Apart from that, we here have an outstanding, breathtaking top...! Killer! Perfectly balanced with an 8lbs 12oz weight and incredible resonance. We were amazed when we tested the everlasting sustain, wow!  Tone-wise, the main difference with previous reissues is the clarity of the notes: cristal-clear, not nearly as dark either. Tone and Volume control knobs really respond to every variation, offering a nearly-infinite tone palette.

In an almost new condition, very well looked after, and hardly played at all and very little playwear (NO fretwear, and only two very small dings in the lower back, hard to spot -check photo-). Includes all case candy, COA, and original 2013 Lifton Case.

This is one of the good ones, folks. You don't see such a fine R9 as this everyday, much less with a killer top like this one.
